What’s your guiltiest pleasure?

Scrolling through online book stores (when I’ve no money) at banjo book and salivating over Robert Johnson banjo transcriptions and Bela Fleck compositions

Tell us your funniest joke?

It’s too awful, umm, hold on till I think of another one. . . Ok, here’s one of my very old favourites, what kind of biscuits can fly?
Wee plane ones.

When did you first start playing music?

When I was 5 on a Mickey Mouse 1 octave keyboard. Laboured for days figuring out the complex note arrangements to “Joy to the World” and “Eastenders” theme tune.

What was the first album you bought?

Stole actually… R.E.M. Out of time

What was the first gig you went to?

Bon Jovi, RDS Dublin, 1996

Who’s currently top of your Spotify/ITunes plays?

Bela Fleck, Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Beatles

What’s your pre-gig ritual?

Run about like a maniac yelling “where the bleepity fucking bleepity is my bleeping jack leads and banjo picks??!!!!”

Bela Fleck, opportunity to coerce Bela to give me private lessons.
